Some Healthy Food Options to Supplement Your Diet or Replace ‘Bad’ Foods to Get Your Energy Levels Up, Prevent Illness, and Even Lose Weight

Healthy living is important. We all know this as we have advertisements and pleas thrown our way every day. The options for diets and healthy living are numerous. The problem is that not all of these diets or programs work for everyone. Instead of following a harsh diet, we have decided to list a few healthy foods that you can add to your diet. Maybe replace some of the bad stuff with these and you will feel the difference in energy and maybe drop a few pounds.

Avocado. This is very good for the skin, hair, and nails. It hydrates, reduces redness, and helps prevent sun damage.

Chia seeds. These seeds are good for digestion. They provide the body with a third of the necessary daily fiber needs.

Garlic. Garlic is one of the earth’s most valuable products. It has a multitude of uses from fighting illness to keeping insects away. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It is a must-have in your kitchen.

Live yogurt. Some diets and dieticians suggest avoiding dairy. This is not necessarily the right route. Live yogurt has a lot of good bacteria for gut health. It is also a better option than milk.
